Transcat is the nation’s largest 3rd party calibration service provider. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter looking to join our fast-growing team as a Field Service Pipette Technician to join our Pipettes.com pipette calibration division. Through Pipettes.com, we provide critical, on-site pipette calibration services for our essential customers in the life sciences, biotech, educational, forensic labs and more. Future growth opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
This position requires a mix of local and overnight travel to customer facilities to calibrate their critical test equipment. Pipetting experience is preferred but not required. All training and equipment will be provided. Travel will be at least 75% of the time. Field Service Calibration Technician will be able to calibrate pipettes, as well as scales/balances, centrifuges, or various temperature devices. Training will be provided, and technicians are expected to learn the skills and processes necessary to perform calibration work within the lab environment

This position does not require any formal education however a two-year college degree or equivalent military experience is preferred.
