The Strategic Customer Success Manager is a creative, results driven individual responsible for portfolio sales performance results. The Customer Success Manager position requires a combination of sales experience, customer-focus, and drive.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new opportunities & work with sales teammates to expand market share within assigned logos
  • Create customer relationships that provide sustainable, profitable growth within your assigned $5M+ portfolio
  • Responsible for gross margin improvement across assigned portfolio; re-evaluating cost structure and renegotiating contracts at time of renewal.
  • Completes comprehensive reporting on assigned portfolio, including forecasting, gross margin improvement, and discounting.
  • Ensures an overall exceptional customer experience is being delivered in order to build customer equity.
  • Accountable to conducting in-person Partnership Review Meetings as established by customer requirements
  • Profound understanding of Transcat’s value proposition, technical services industry, market share and customer initiatives
  • Flexibility to support in- person client meetings regularly across North America
  • Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • 3-5 years of experience selling products and services
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Strategic Selling alumni a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Salesforce

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, MBA is a plus
