  • Salary range is $55,000 - 75,000

 

Perform the functions of a staff accountant, including reconciling cash accounts, support the company credit card program, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring the daily banking transactions of the company and reconciling the company bank accounts.
  • Responsible for monthly journal entries, including accruals, intangible asset amortization, revenue recognition entries, and other entries during the month-end close
  • Assist in maintaining the Company's credit card programs, including working with managers and other employees to coordinate credit card coding
  • Perform SOX compliant functions, including maintaining internal controls required by the PCAOB and SEC
  • Assist in compiling various accounting reports that are used by management on a monthly basis
  • Room for growth for other accounting opportunities
  • Experience with international transactions is preferred. 
  • Experience with company stock plans is a plus. 

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High level of confidentiality
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Web-based platforms for completing banking transactions
  • Ability and willingness to learn new accounting software

 

Education and/or Experience                                                  

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from accredited four-year college preferred
  • 2+ years related experience and/or training in Corporate Accounting or Public Accounting
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
