  • Pay range is $50,000 - $65,000

 

The Rental and Used Equipment sales Associate will ensure that Transcat Rentals' clients are successful in performing their required tests. They will also be responsible for helping to continue the rapid growth of Transcat's rental business through quoting, order placement, customer service and sales support.

Responsibilities

  • Receive quote requests via email, case queue and phone, issue quotes via our quoting system
  • Process POs, including ensuring unit availability, place orders
  • Work with the customer to understand requirements and find alternative solutions
  • Work with other team members and brand representatives to solve technical issues arising during rentals
  • Attend and complete training sessions on brands and product categories
  • Occasional travel may be required, estimated to be less than 10% of the time
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to successfully change tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate in a clear, professional and concise matter with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently as well as show initiative
  • Attention to detail and focus are critical for this role.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, and 2-5 years of sales / customer service experience.
