Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving forward Marketing Communications initiatives in alignment with sales strategy to capture our target audience, drive conversions, and support Sales initiatives. In this role, you will work collaboratively on the Marketing Communications Team to develop a compelling customer experience through brand and service messaging in website content, Sales enablement materials, digital marketing campaigns, and additional strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an organized and driven individual, a strategic thinker, and a team player who understands how to optimize customer touchpoints to drive user engagement and nurture leads to conversion.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute communications strategy through website content development, sales support materials, occasional customized email campaigns, and additional marketing channels. Execute post-implementation analysis on performance of marketing activities and optimize campaigns accordingly
  • Collaborate with Services Marketing Manager to identify opportunities for web content creation and existing content optimization. Utilize SEO best practices in implementing marketing strategy to drive web traffic and increase conversion rate
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team to analyze performance and refine website content strategy. Support PPC Specialists with evolving portfolio messaging
  • Collaboratively work within the Marketing Communications Team to recommend new content ideas or methods to incorporate updated messaging
  • Model the Company’s values to influence others to perform in an aligned manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills to clearly articulate complex messages to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent writing, grammatical, and proofreading skills required
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of SEO strategy and website best practice
  • Experience working with customer personas, brand guidelines, and campaign strategies
  • Experience working with marketing communication platforms, including Hubspot, Hootsuite, and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
  • Comfortable with constructive criticism and able to navigate various stakeholder input

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing communications; B2B experience a plus
  • Experience in the biomedical or life sciences markets, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
