Position Summary

The Salesforce & eCommerce Delivery Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of development and delivery efforts across both platforms. This role will lead sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination to ensure work stays aligned with business priorities and timelines. As a key member of the IT team, the Team Lead acts as a delivery concierge—providing structure, removing blockers, and ensuring teams have what they need to execute. The role also supports project teams by guiding Salesforce technical work and advising on platform best practices.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution across Salesforce and eCommerce delivery teams
  • Own and manage Jira backlogs, task assignment, and sprint planning
  • Coordinate release cycles and QA handoffs in partnership with QA leadership
  • Represent teams in planning sessions, standups, and stakeholder meetings
  • Make design and platform-level decisions for Salesforce development work
  • Support Salesforce developers by clarifying tasks, prioritizing workload, and unblocking issues
  • Align eCommerce development efforts and tasks with business roadmaps and delivery timelines
  • Track progress, identify risks, and communicate status updates to business and technical stakeholders
  • Maintain clear process and system documentation to support team workflows and development efforts
  • Model the Company’s values to influence others to perform in an aligned manner
  • Ensure training and development plans are in place and communicated to employees to drive performance improvement and career progression
  • Complete and deliver accurate, thorough, and prescriptive employee performance reviews on the required timeline
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce tools (Apex, Flows, LWC, DevOps processes)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce release management (e.g., Copado, Git)
  • Proficiency with Jira and sprint-based delivery workflows
  • Ability to represent teams effectively in cross-functional and business-facing settings
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and delivery cycles, especially in a B2B context
  • Clear, confident communicator with a proactive, team-oriented leadership style

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred
  • Experience coordinating across development, QA, and product teams
