We are growing and adding 11 biomedical field service technicians to our team. Biomedical equipment techs, military PMEL veterans, and calibration pros: this one is for you.
Travel isn't for everyone, but this role comes with a lot going for it:
Who we are: Transcat is a leading provider of calibration and compliance services in North America, trusted for more than 60 years. You may know us through Spectrum—our biomedical team—or through Southeastern Biomedical Associates, the well-respected biomedical service company that joined the Transcat family of companies in August 2026. Customer demand for our biomedical services is growing, and we are expanding our team to meet it. Our purpose is to provide peace of mind to the world's most critical industries. When you calibrate and service biomedical test equipment, you help make sure the devices used in patient care are accurate. Your work makes a difference and saves lives.
What you will do: Calibrate and service biomedical and commercial test and measurement equipment at customer sites, document your work, and support the local Transcat lab when you are not traveling.
What you bring: Calibration or biomedical test equipment experience or equivalent training; an associate degree or technical school, or 2-5 years of related experience (military PMEL a plus); self-motivation and strong customer service; 3+ years of driving experience with an acceptable driving record; ability to lift 50 lbs.
