Pipette Technician 1 is an entry-level position, requiring no prior experience. Trainees will be able to calibrate pipettes, as well as scales/balances, centrifuges, or various temperature devices. Training will be provided, and technicians are expected to learn the skills and processes necessary to perform calibration work within the lab environment.
Position Description:
A Senior Calibration Technician is the highest-level technician position within Transcat. These technicians will have the ability to calibrate equipment in at least three disciplines - and to calibrate the most complex equipment in at least one discipline.
The Project Manager manages key internal strategic projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of the project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.
The successful candidate will work directly with Shipyard personnel and Ship’s force to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.

Under the direction of the TMS Tam Lead and TMS Manager, purchases services and delivers customer facing quotes/proposals for service. Demonstrates technical knowledge within the area of Calibration and Repair Services and related quality aspects of the process and its impact
The Customer Service Coordinator will serve as a conduit for information between operations, sales, and the customer. The successful candidate will predominantly support tickets, requests, lead escalation, quotes, and status of items – but should also be comfortable in independent decision making to proactively communicate with customers and prioritize work without high levels of supervision.

These technicians will typically have the ability to calibrate low-end process instrumentation in one to three disciplines. (i.e. Electrical, Dimensional, or Pressure).
Calibration Technician II is a mid-level position. These technicians will have the ability to calibrate higher-level equipment and calibrate equipment across a minimum of three disciplines (or have an expert level of knowledge/calibration experience in one to two disciplines).
The Strategic Account Manager position is an energetic, creative, results driven individual responsible for individually contributing, mentoring and guiding the Business Development and Customer Success teams to produce sales results through collaborative selling. TRANSCAT is strategically focused on expanding market share of key strategic customers. The Strategic Account Manager position requires a combination of sales experience, mentorship, solutions - oriented selling and an advocate for TRANSCAT’s sales process and internal partnerships.
This position will be trained in all aspects of the shipping and receiving department which includes the driver responsibilities.

The Quote Proposal Specialist processes and maintains all large-scale depot and onsite quotations for the organization. Responsible for providing detailed pricing information to our Sales and Operations teams in a precise and efficient manner.

To provide onsite calibration of test equipment for customers within the specified location up to and including an 8-hour radius. Also, will have the opportunity to support the local Transcat laboratory when not traveling.
