Calibration Technician I is an entry level position but requires either education in the electronics/calibration field or 1+ year of experience in calibration.  These technicians will typically have the ability to calibrate low-end process instrumentation in one to three disciplines. (i.e. Electrical, Dimensional, or Pressure).       

The Customer Service Representative will serve as a conduit for information between operations, sales, and the customer. The successful candidate will predominantly support tickets, requests, lead escalation, quotes, and status of items – but should also be comfortable in independent decision making to proactively communicate with customers and prioritize work without high levels of supervision.

Calibration Technician II is a mid-level position. These technicians will have the ability to calibrate higher-level equipment and calibrate equipment across a minimum of three disciplines (or have an expert level of knowledge/calibration experience in one to two disciplines).

Sells products and calibration services to business and industrial establishments or individuals over the telephone by performing the duties listed below.Answers and responds to customer inquiries regarding any issue including billing or expediting orders. Meets activity goals and sales objectives

Major Areas of Responsibility   This technicians will have the ability to calibrate higher-level equipment and calibrate equipment across a minimum of three disciplines (or have an expert level of knowledge/calibration experience in one to two disciplines).   Duties and Responsibilities   Responsible for providing calibration services for test equipment primarily in the field of RF and Electrical metrology.   Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - 3-5 years experience in RF and Electrical metrology in a hands-on calibration capacity - Experience calibrating RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers, network analysers, signal generators and attenuators - Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multi-meters, thermometers is an asset - Good repair and troubleshooting skills - Willing to perform extensive calibrations at customer sites   Education and Experience: College or university degree in electronics, telecommunications, industrial electronics or equivalent   Competencies                                                  To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: - Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Works well in-group problem solving situations. - Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others. - Interpersonal Skills - Listens to others without interrupting; keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things. - Oral Communication - Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions. Job description E2b Calibration is an accredited calibration laboratory and repair shop that specializes in GSE maintenance and repair. We are currently expanding our team of technicians and looking for a skilled mechanic to provide maintenance and repairs on various types of ground support equipment.

Calibration Technician I is an entry level position but requires either education in the electronics/calibration field or 1+ year of experience in calibration.  These technicians will typically have the ability to calibrate low-end process instrumentation in one to three disciplines. Capabilities/Pricing Instrumentation Database: Maintains the organization's Transcat capabilities and pricing database.  Responsible for maintaining and updating Manufacturer Management listings, which include manufacturer names, instrument models, instrument ranges, instrument accuracies, and instrument descriptions, assigning the appropriate Metrology discipline and subgroup, while evaluating and assigning lab capabilities.  Performs research to ensure these entries are accurate.

Calibration Technician I is an entry-level position that requires either education in the electronics/calibration field or at least one (1) year of calibration experience.  Calibration Technicians at this level typically can calibrate low-end process instrumentation in up to three (3) disciplines (e.g., Electrical, Dimensional or Pressure).  Proficiency and expertise are determined in accordance with Transcat’s technician skills progression matrix.

This technician will have the ability to calibrate higher-level equipment and calibrate equipment across a minimum of three disciplines (or have an expert level of knowledge/calibration experience in one to two disciplines).
